floral, polka-dots, checkerd, more floral, more floral and some more floral

I saw some cute little flags outside a shop in beechworth a few weeks ago, I thought they were adorable, but unfortunately they were not for sale. So I decided to make some myself. I went to an opshop and bought all different coloured and patterned material. I started off hand sewing them, but it was slow and frustrating. So after a lesson from Mum on how to use the sewing machine, I was off crazily cutting out triangles, sewing, ironing and threading like a madman. It took me two days to make, but I think the end result was worth it.
